CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Help church members grow and mature into a committed life of discipleship through a comprehensive educational program that is aligned with the Word of God and in line with the Pastor’s vision; assist the church ministries in carrying out the task of proclaiming the Word of God, worshipping and evangelizing through a structured process of teaching and training; provide educational opportunities that promote spiritual growth, cultivate Biblical knowledge and deepen understandings of Christian teachings. (*Bible Study Class, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School are Christian Education Ministries.)

CULINARY

Coordinate and organize food and beverages and oversee the general operations of the church kitchen.

DANCE: VESSELS OF PRAISE

Minister God's Word and celebrate Jesus Christ using dance as a unique avenue of worship and praise; glorify God through Holy Spirit-inspired movements, gestures and musical selections that are joyful, reverent spiritual expressions.

DRAMA

Glorify and honor God through the use of drama, storytelling, spoken word and theatrical arts; utilize gifts of writing, speaking and acting to help others visualize God's Word.

GRIEF CARE

Assist the pastor, church members and their families in the planning of their loved one’s funeral services; provide assistance with counseling and/or making recommendations for other needed services.

K.I.C.K. (Kids In Christ’s Kingdom)

Encourage and inspire youth of the church to develop a solid relationship with God and build a Christ-centered community with their peers; disciple youth to serve Christ and serve the people of God with love and compassion; evangelize and teach youth to help them strengthen their faith, discover their God-ordained purpose, use their God-given talents and live out the teachings of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives.

LADIES OF GRACE

Nurture the spiritual growth and development of women through inspirational Biblical teachings, community outreach, service projects, and engaging fellowships and gatherings; foster a supportive community where all women of Fresh Wind can connect, grow, and flourish in their faith.

MEN OF STANDARD

Nurture the spiritual growth and development of men through Holy Spirit led fellowship, encouragement, and selfless service to one another and the community at large. (Philippians 2:1-8)

MISSIONARIES WITH PURPOSE

Love and serve God and the community with heart, soul, mind and purpose; make a positive impact in the lives of others and in the works of the church; demonstrate compassion, kindness, humility and strength in supporting the body of Christ through missions. (Mark 12:30-31)

HELPS: HEALTH

Provide programs, education, and support to address the physical, mental, and emotional health and wellness needs of the congregation.

HELPS: HOSPITALITY/GREETERS

Provide a welcoming environment to all who enter the church; encourage fellowship, acceptance and help build a community of believers. (Hebrews 13:2)

HELPS: USHERS

Work as doorkeepers for the Lord; create a welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors by greeting, directing to seats, maintaining order during service, assisting with needs and ensuring a smooth and respectful worship experience.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

Labor in prayer for the will of God to be done on earth as it is in heaven; pray fervent, effectual prayers as a powerful expression of love and an effective weapon for spiritual warfare; intercede for the spiritual and physical needs of people, the church body, the community and the world.

MULTIMEDIA

Share the Word of God and build connections with our virtual community through digital streaming and social media engagement; spread the message of salvation, faith, and hope to a wider audience through camera operation, video or audio production, or creative design and marketing.

MUSIC

Sing praises unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; glorify God using songs, instruments and music; exhort, uplift, and encourage the body of Christ through song and worship; minister to God's people and spread the gospel using music as an established means of proclaiming God's Word.

PASTOR’S AIDE

Provide service to the Pastor, ensuring he is fully equipped, prepared, and able to fulfill his responsibilities in leading the congregation; support the Pastor’s emotional and spiritual health by prayer, encouragement, and acts of kindness; plan special events to celebrate the Pastor; offer care and consideration for the Pastor’s family needs; provide opportunities for the church members to actively show appreciation and support.

SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS

Provide fun and fellowship for members who are 62 years old and older through weekly meetings, field trips, special classes, and relevant sessions.

SECURITY

Provide a safe and secure environment for our members and visitors who enter our church walls and/or attend church events; provide an atmosphere of comfort, worship, and refuge so people are able to serve the Lord and each other freely.
